These vehicles are so prone to front end scraping, many dealerships and customers leave the temporary guards on, even though they were never designed for road use. To deter this, Dodge made these guards bright yellow and hot pink, still, they continue to plague the roads.

Damaged factory paint on a 2019 Dodge Charger, when shipping guards are left on road debris gets caught between the guard and the car causing clear coat damage and scratches.
In numerous interviews, Mark Trostle, head of design for Dodge and SRT, says "When we did the sketch for the Charger and Challenger, it never had yellow strips on it. I wish they would take them off. To me, as a designer, it ruins the lines of the car." Trostle adding that the temporary shipping guards also ruin the vehicle’s factory paint.
